I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
Nice high rise Salsa stem from the 1990's. These are often used with Dirt Drops handlebars. This sat on in backstock since the 1990's at Wild Rose bike shop in Salt Lake City, Utah. The stem measures 135mm if you measure the shaft itself, but 120mm for the "virtual" measurement from an invisible point above the steerer clamp to the bar clamp.
Condition
New Old Stock. There are zero paint chips or rust. Very clean, just a little bit of light shop wear (mostly on the logos). It looks like a handlebar has been test-fit once, as theres the slightest paint wear inside the clamp. The steerer clamp though is perfect inside, indicating it was never used.
Details
- Steerer: 1" threadless ahead-style
- Length: 135mm, 120mm virtual length
- Bar clamp: 25.4mm

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
