Item Condition
Item Condition
I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
Rare 3D Violet ano version of the legendary ControlTech alloy flat bars! They were introduced in 1993, and ran through much of the 1990s. This is the earlier version which only has "ControlTech" decals on each side of the clamp area. Later years they used Easton tubing and had less classy Easton decals underneath. These are a sleek alternative to the Answer Hyperlite bars.
Condition
New old stock, installed but not ridden. Zero crimping or fading. There's just the slightest stem removal scratches around the clamp area, and even lighter lever removal marks mostly under the grip area. Once installed these will pass for pristine aside from the tiny scratches that go beyond the stem clamp area.
Details
- 25.4mm clamp, no shim needed
- 580mm long, uncut
- 3DV Purple anodized

Sell / Trade / Donate
I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
