Description
Rare, beautiful, absurdly high performance, and sought after vintage brake levers. They were made from 1990 to 2000. They were made in a small machine shop in San Francisco called AL Machining. They are V-Brake and mechanical disc brake compatible. Their claim to fame is the automatically adjusting leverage ratio. At the beginning of the lever stroke, it pulls a lot of cable to take up slack between the pads and rim. As you pull further, the leverage ratio climbs, for superbe power. This combo gives you the best of both worlds as far as being able to set the pads wide apart for mud clearance, and great lever feel/power.
Aesthetically, these are in the same general "triangular" profile as Machine Tech Zeroflex levers. They get their Shark Tooth name from the little fin near the cable barrel attachment. The barrel adjusters are drilled.
