Description
Drop dead gorgeous steel lugged quill. These are hand brazed by a very talented female welder in Nitto's factory named Noriko Yabashi. Rivendell contracted Nitto to build this model, though they don't always get the credit for it. They're made from Reynolds 853 air hardened steel, and feature what Nitto calls "dull-bright" finish. It's satiny smooth and not shiny, but you can't rightly call it matte either.
Condition
New and never ridden, but it's been installed into a steerer once and you can see the dried grease line where the top of the headset sat. No insertion marks though, and pristine above that line.
