NIB/NOS Shimano Dura Ace SP-7410 Team Issue Seatpost: BLACK - 27.2mm x 270mm - Easton - Same as XTR SP-M900 (VERY RARE)

This is the sponsored pro team issued version of the Easton 7410 series post.  It was issued to road, track, and mtb teams.  It is the exact same post as the retail version, only the team-only version features SHIMANO in bold letters in place of the usual smaller Dura Ace logos.  These team versions are rare enough, but this one is BLACK! The black finish was only seen on the team edition, but very infrequently.  This may be among the most obscure Dura Ace parts from the broader 7400 series.

The 7410 seatpost was first issued in 1994, and was available at retail, OEM, or through sponsorships until the early 2000's.  The 7410 post was literally just the XTR SP-M900 mtb seatpost, just with a different finish and logos.  The cool thing about this post is it's a killer stand-in for the XTR M900 post.  You wouldn't use a retail 7410 with Dura Ace logos on a mountain bike, but this one lacks any road bike signifiers and is pretty close to the same dark anodized color the XTR came in.

Condition:

True new old stock in retail box with manual.  This was part of a lot of NOS parts I bought from a collector who purchased these all new and never removed from their boxes.  Absolutely pristine without a single mark or speck of dirt.  Box is a little worn.
