Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

This mid 1980's Turbo is a bit curious, as it has the Turbo SLG's luxurious and extra soft buffalo hide cover.  It has the standard Turbo's decals and steel rails.  Your guess is as good as mine to what model this technically is.  The buffalo cover is like an upgraded lux version of the smooth black leather.  It's slightly less glossy, a bit more textured, and a LOT softer.  It is almost as soft as a brand new suede, but doesn't have the wear issues a suede cover has.

The Selle Italia Turbo is one of the most loved saddles of all time, up there with the Brooks B17 and San Marco Concor.  They're gorgeously constructed with a durable leather cover, and stand the test of time.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
