Item Condition
I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
Rare and sought after Mavic headset from the 1980's and early 90's. The 315 is the 1" version of the 316 (1 1/8") and 317 (1 1/4"). Even better, it's black! Bearings are the SKF style plastic retainers, and are in sealed factory bag.
Condition
New, never used. The top fixed cup's flange has some light damage (likely from being test-fit once?). Otherwise, it's pretty mint with only very light shop wear. Great for your show bicycle.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
