Description

This Stronglight A9 headset has a Galli decal opposite the Stronglight on the top nut. Stronglight made these headsets for a few brands to market such as Galli, Schwinn Paramount, Spidel. Would you rather it just be a regular old Stronglight? Take two minutes and rub off the Galli decal!

Top end needle bearing headset from the mid 1980's!  Stronglight made a later version of the A9 with sealed cartridge bearings, but this is the original that ran from about 1983 to 1988.  It's super light at 176g, and completely made of aluminum aside from bearings in derlin retainers.  Beautiful and high functioning headset.

This one is French threads, and has a flattened spot to match a French frame vs the key notch on Italian/English.
