Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

This is the original production version of the Record 10 speed chain, from the early to mid 2000's. This version is very hard to find!

The Record™ groupset this year presents the new Record™ 10s Ultra Narrow™ chain that is just 5.9-mm wide. Owing to its dimensions, the new version is lighter and quieter and facilitates adjustment of the rear derailleur. Chain links and pins are hollow so that the chain weighs only 255*g in all. The tests run in our laboratories have shown that traction force, pin retention force, wear, resistance to stretch, torsion and inflection are the same as for the Record™ 10s chain.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
