I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
This front hub from the 1970's is designed to accomodate the Phil Wood Disc brake (often for tandem bicycles). The hub has threads which the special Phil rotor threads onto. It is spaced to 110mm, and the non-drive side axle end has a little slot that a rubber o-ring fits in to secure the disc brake around the axle.
The threads are standard freewheel threads. There are adapters to allow the use of a modern 6 bolt disc rotor. you could potentially use this in a 110mm spaced Keirin track frame or old school BMX bike, though you might have to play with the spacing and axle ends a bit.
Condition
New in retail box, never laced. The only shop wear is a slight bit of peppering on the center shell, as well as on the brake threads. Bearings are buttery smooth.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
