This headset fits Giant's new standard headset size, 1 1/4" to 1.5" tapered (coined "Overdrive 2"). Starting on their 2012 models, Giant used this new headset size on all Anthem, Trance, and Reign bikes. Giant was the first to use the now-standard 1 1/8" to 1.5" headset, and everyone else soon followed. Overdrive 2 is going to be the same. A few years down the road, all high end bikes will likely use overdrive 2.
This fits all frames that are designed for 1 1/8" to 1.5" tapered as well. It's the inside diameter that's different. We are selling a new Fox Float 29er for a killer price that needs this headset. See below.
Includes anodized blue top cap, spacers, and top headset cup. Bottom headset cup is black (only a 2mm thick piece of this is visible once installed). All pieces included.
Brand new. The bottom cup and bearing has never been installed. The top cup and bearing came on my Giant Anthem 29er, which was never even built up.
