Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

This rare stem from the very late 1980's or early 1990's would have been custom made for a Mountain Goat Deluxe, Whiskeytown Racer, Mudslinger, or Escape goat.  There's a fair chance Jeff Lindsay himself built this stem.  Not often you see one of these not permanently installed on a Goat mtb!

Condition

Excellent used condition.  Overall it looks quite nice with only a few blemishes to note: 1) top of bar clamp has tiny chip. 2) Some chipping on edges of top steerer bolt barrels 3) minor decal wear, more so on right side.

Sell / Trade / Donate

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
