Moots Rich Cast Fenders for MOOTS MOUNTAINEER 1983-1985 Front & Rear VERY RARE!

If you own an early Moots Mountaineer, you NEED these fenders!  You're likely to NEVER see another pair for sale as they are exceedingly scarce!  They were fabricated by Rich Cast, reportedly a mtb racer for Moots out of Steamboat Springs.  He made them specifically to fit  Mountaineer's in the early 80's.  He made very few of these, and even fewer can be located today.  Most are on restored Mountaineer bikes.  They feature an original Moots sticker on the end.  I acquired these from a local in Steamboat Springs Colorado, where the Moots factory and store are located.

CONDITION:

Excellent very lightly used shape!  The fenders are complete with all hardware and pieces.  Plastic is in very good shape, and not fragile at all.  Mounting plates and wire strut stays are in great shape, as are the bolts and nuts.  The only real blemish is the back end of the front fender does have some minor denting in the plastic, right around the hardware mount at the end.
