I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
Very rare time trial aero bars from 1989 to about 1994(?). Many think these are the bars Greg Lemond beat Laurent Fignon in the 1989 Tour De France, and that makes sense because his had the Mavic decal. In reality, Lemond was riding prototype Scott aerobars! They are very similar in structure/aesthetics. The Mavic ones were often used with Mavic 355 Bullhorn bars, both in that signature dark grey ano.
The bars adjust fore/aft on your base bar, and the elbow pads are position and side/side tilt adjustable. Includes the original grey alloy handlebar shims.
Condition
Excellent to near mint! From most angles these are very clean. The little bits of wear include some decal wear, and ano wear (mostly along the outside edges). Pads are in excellent shape! They're not crumbling or sticky, and show little wear. Show bike worthy for some bikes

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
