Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

These rad levers were made in the USA from ~1996 to 1997 (via MOMBAT Timeline).  They released with the Machine Tech Zero Flex Cantilever brakes, and were reviewed as some of the best performing mtb brake levers of the era.  They are much stiffer than the lithe Kooka Racha or Paul Canti levers, and perhaps even more so than the mighty yet plain XTR BL-M952.  This solo right rear lever is quite rare.

Condition

Fairly nice shape with lots of life left. Minor cosmetic wear, and a section by the logo on the body that appears to be pushed/dented in VERY slightly but I can't feel it. So it might have a tiny dent or it might have some weird finish gremlin that makes it look like it is.

Details

  • Right lever only (Rear in US, front Euro style)
  • Short pull, for cantilever / centerpull / road caliper
  • Dark grey anodized / polished accents

Sell / Trade / Donate

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
