Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

This is a very early or prototype version of the legendary Look Ergopost from the early 1990's.  You can find the Ergopost 2 and the Ergopost 4 occasionally, but this Ergopost 1 is unobtanium!  There's currently one listed on Ebay for $400!  Super cool matte carbon finish.  This post was designed to have a huge amount of fore-aft saddle adjustment.  If you have a historic Look bike frame (Look KG 96, KG 196, KG 281), you need this post!

Condition

This one is for DISPLAY ONLY, or to steal the clamp/bolt from.  There is an indented section on the back of the carbon from the seat tube somehow.  The clamp and bolt are mint.  Cosmetically the post is excellent or better.  Bike Recyclery and it's owner assume ZERO liability to injury, damage, or death due to riding this seatpost.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
