I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. Description

The Montana Pro FZ was one of KHS's top level cross country mountain bike frames in the early/mid 1990's.  It handles amazingly, and sprints like a jack rabbit.  It came to Bike Recyclery built with a gaggle of exotic anodized parts such as Kooka, Ringle, Hershey Racing Naked / Paul Word hubs, and Titec/Bontrager Ti bars (see pic of it built up).  With this build it weighed in at a scant 22 pounds as a singlespeed.  Most of these parts are available for sale, search the site or ask if you need help sourcing parts to build the frame.  Features rad Kooka and Paul Racing Components stickers from the 90's on the seat tube, as well as a purple alien sticker as the headbadge.  High quality True Temper steel.

Size:  The med/large 18" (c-c) frame should fit someone roughly 5ft 5 to 5ft 10.

Condition:  Structurally in great condition.  Frame is straight, with no bends/dents/cracks.  Only a very slight beginning of light rust inside the seat tube, though no rust in the head tube or bb shell.  Paint overall looks nice and glossy, with some minor chips and scratches.  The main concentration of paint chips is under the bb shell and bottom of the down tube.  Elsewhere, scratches/chips are mostly minor and scattered.  BB threads are great.
