Description
The Iscaselle Tornado was very similar to the vintage 1980's Selle italia Turbo and San Marco Concor, but was sold in MUCH lower numbers. They were famously the choice of Peter Post's racing teams, T.I. Raleigh-Campagnolo and Later Panasonic-Raleigh. Perhaps because these were the only teams Iscaselle provided saddles to, they have become quite rare.
The color of this suede is the star of the show. Its a mottled orange-ish red that evokes memories of your favorite shag rug from the 70's. It's quite vibrant and alive. If you look at it once you may think it's red, but look at a different spot and it'll appear more orange. Your eye almost can't decide what color it is as the colors blend seamlessly together. It'll be the first thing the eye tracks to on most bikes.
Condition
Excellent used shape. No scuffs/scrapes/tears/holes. The main thing to note is varying dirt imbedded in the fibers of the suede, which adds to the charm of the saddle rather than detract from it. This is what gives it the eye-melting colorscape.
