Description

Uber long Ibis mountain bike quill with a canti cable stop! Fair chance this was made for a trials bike in the 1980's, or perhaps a custom for other purposes. VERY rare to find an Ibis with a cable stop! It would be a rad display piece for people to go "wow that's a long stem" followed by "bloody hell it's nice too!"

Revered as the finest titanium stems in the world, it doesn't get any cooler than an Ibis Ti stem!  These were built by Gary Helfrich of Fat City and Merlin fame, and licensed by Ibis.  Unlike the other heavy hitters of the Ti world like Moots and Litespeed who use 3/2.5v titanium, the legendary Ibis quill stem is CNC machined from solid 6/4v titanium billet!  Even the bolts are made of ti 6/4.  It is highly polished for titanium, and has a silky smooth finish.  Quite rare!

Condition

Near mint lightly used. The only significant wear is the non-drive side's extension has some obvious wear and insertion marks..  Quite clean otherwise.
