Description

This insane wheelset is almost completely US made by small boutique brand Hermes-Sport.  These feature a radical magnetically pawled freehub body with near instant engagement.  The freehub is freaking loud!  Dare I say louder and meaner than a Chris King?

They retailed for $995 just last year, but it seems the company (or at least their website) has gone under?  They have several glowing reviews (Here, Here, and a forum post) claiming these are just as good as a Chris King / White Industries hubset mated to a Hed Ardenes or other lovely rim.

Highlights include a 20h radial front and 24h radial rear, with a triplet rear lacing (2 drive-side spokes to 1 non-drive); oversized QR axles; 23mm wide rims - 1500g weight.  The three reviews linked above describe them MUCH better than I can, give them a read!

Condition

Near mint barely used condition.  These have about 75 miles on them.  Rims are perfectly true, bearings buttery smooth and perfect.  Just the very slightest signs of brake pads touching rim braking tract (wouldn't even call it wear).  Only a few tiny marks on the black parts of the rim.  Hubs look perfect.
