Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

Handbuilt stem from master framebuilder Glenn Erickson. Most of his stems feature this clever 3-bolt removable faceplate for quick bar changes while retaining an rock solid grip on the bar worthy of even gravel/mtb riding.

Glenn started building bikes along with Angel Rodriguez (of Rodriguez Cycles) in 1973 when they formed A+E Cycles in Seattle. Glenn left A+E in the early 1980's and struck out on his own. He is most known for his elaborately shaped lugs, though clearly he was a master of fillet brazing as well.

Condition

The paint has cosmetic wear but structurally this stem is in great shape. Use it as is for a rider condition bike, or an excellent candidate for a fresh coat of paint.

Sell / Trade / Donate

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
