Gilles Berthoud Marie Blanque / Aspin Women's Leather Saddle: Natural Brown

The Marie Blanque is the women's specific version of the popular Aspin model.  The only real difference between the two is the Marie is 30mm shorter and 40g lighter.  These are almost non-existant on the used market, as people LOVE these saddles and they last forever.

This gorgeous saddle is made from thick, natural vegetable tanned leather. It is pre-softened and waterproof.  The bolt assemblies at the rear of the saddle aren't on the top surface, where you might sit on them if you slide back on your saddle. But instead the bolts are off the back edge, out of the way.  So if you don't like Brooks saddles because the rivets bother your behind, this is your solution saddle!

Very easily DISASSEMBLING thanks to an ingenious system. made with stainless screws which fit into special-sharped brass washers. The cone-sharped washer fits into the leather avoiding any risk of damage.

Condition

Only has 200 miles on it, but it has some light leather damage from a low speed crash.  The left-rear of the top has some scratches and light gouges.  Theres also one light scratch right-rear, and a couple very light ones on the tip of the nose.  Otherwise, excellent shape.
