Description

This is one of the ultimate square taper bottom brackets to come out of the 1990's CNC anodized aerospace era! It weighs a scant 156 grams, and sold for the insane price of $200 from roughly 1995-1998 ($425 in 2025 money!).  It uses a spindle stiffening method similar to Sampson and Boone Helix BB's, with an oversized and drilled out center section.  These are quite rare, and would be lovely on your weight-conscious retro mtb or road bike!

Condition

Near mint to mint with very few miles. Bearings feel as new! Spindle ends show just the slightest crank arm marks. Cups only have the most insignificant cosmetic wear and pretty much no tool wear in the notches.
