Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

Control Tech's canti brakes from the 1990's are unique in design, and highly rated on MTBR.  The only other brake that looks similar is the Machine Tech.  These brakes feature odd spring-based straddle cable devices.  Uses standard v-brake pads.

*A couple of parts are missing.  One of the shims/caps that fit under the mounting bolt is missing, as is one of the ends on one of the straddle cables. (thus the cheap price. These typically go for over $100)

Condition

Great used condition.  Some light marks in the paint.  Missing a couple hardware pieces (see above)

Sell / Trade / Donate

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
