Description

These were top of the line racing bicycle pedals from England in the 1930's, 1940's, and 1950's.  They were made by BSA, and are very similar to BSA's own pedals which differed by sayin BSA in the cages and has alternately twisting teeth.  They are quite rare, and almost never show up on the market.  They feature a convenient grease fitting in the dust caps.  This is an unrestored survivor example in functional and nice looking condition with some patina.

Condition

Overall nice shape.  The spindles are smooth with just the slightest amount of play.  Cages are completely straight, teeth in great shape.  Chrome overall is shiny with some patina and wear.  The end of the quill tails have the worst of the wear, and one of them is quite scratched.  The cage sides look nice with some patina.  Bodies and spindles are very clean, but the top of one pedal's body has a worn spot.  Dust caps have some finish wear, but are intact and look ok.  Not for the nicest show bike, but perfect for an unrestored show bike or rider.
