Description

This rare vintage tool set is essentially a Campagnolo master framebuilders tool kit with different branding.  The tools are extremely similar, and the cutters/handles/hardware are compatible with their Campy counterparts.  There are rumors that Cobra actually made all of Campagnolo's tools back in the 70's (I don't have documentation of this).  This set is complete, and was owned by Norther Cycles in Portland. 

It is a collection of the basic cutting tools needed to build and repair bicycle frames.  Highlights are headtube reamer, bottom bracket taps and facer, crown race cutter, fixed cup remover, etc.

Condition

This set has been well maintained throughout it's life.  A few of it's cutters have been replaced with correct Cobra cutters when they have worn out, and all tools are currently sharp and in excellent working condition.  No damage, rust, or missing parts anywhere.  The box is mostly in great shape but has a few spots of wear to the wood (mostly right rear corner of the top) and one of the brackets that fit around the handle's mounting screw is missing.  Hinges and latches function very well.
