Campagnolo Record 1044 Seatpost, Guerciotti Pantograph: 27.2

One of the most popular seatposts from the 70's and 80's, with an attractive Guerciotti panto!  What's great about this particular pantograph is it can work for any brand bike.  Say your seatpost is pantographed "Colnago".  That pantograph is going to say Colnago on it, and your bike might be a Bob Jackson.  You don't want to bastardize your Bob with a Colnago logo do you?  With this one, it's only a cool looking star with a "G" in it.

The Record 1044 post was made from 1969 through the mid 80's.  This one is a post-1972, as the early ones did not have a minimum insertion line.

Very good to great condition.  From the top of the post down to an inch above the minimum insertion line is in excellent condition.  Highly polished, no pitting.  One 1/2" scratch below the pantograph.  Very light insertion mark zig zags only on the front of the post up to the flutes.  The paint in the flutes is a bit dirty, but still looks good and could be painted.  There is some pitting below the insertion line, and extending about an inch above the insertion line.   Clamp and hardware in excellent shape with only light marks.  Zero rust.
