Description

Late 1950's to mid 1960's skewer, issued with both the Gran Sport and Record gruppos.  This one is the same as the common 1964 to 1978 skewer, just with an "open" C in Campagnolo vs the closed/more rounded C in the later ones.  This is the earliest version of the skewer that became the Nuovo Record. These are appropriate for the 1st gen Nuovo Record hubs without logos, the "No Record" hubs.  There were several Campy skewers before this one, but they were all significantly different designs. This is loosely the 3rd generation Campy skewer, and the first one made completely by Campagnolo

Condition

Near mint very lightly used shape. Slight scratching at the cam end's center, and light dried grease in spots of the deep corners. Show bike worthy for most but NOS show bikes.
