Description
Ever heard the term "good things come in small brown boxes"? Well, even better things come in big wooden boxes! This New Old Stock (?) Campagnolo Freewheel Tool Kit was produced in the late 1970's through the mid 1980's, and is required to remove and disassemble all Campagnolo freewheels. Like anything in a box labeled Campagnolo, it's become quite collectible! Essential for any Campagnolo bike shop or fanatic. Great investment as well, as they'll only go up in value as more and more of them are used/lost/separated. This kit o nly pops up on ebay a few times every year (none currently listed anywhere online!), and typically sell between $1500-$2000.
This kit has a bonus, too! The toolkit did not come from the Campy factory with a freewheel, just a space to store a spare freewheel (as per the 1986 "Record News"). This kit includes a NOS 6 speed Campy freewheel! These sell for $350-$400.
*The chain whip is a replacement. It is a Campagnolo #TL-1130022, and unused. It is a bit thinner and shinier than the original, but serves the exact function*
Condition: The kit is complete, and includes original instruction manual. Wooden box is in very good shape, with some scratches in the wood. Metal hinges/latches in great shape w/ no rust. Freewheel is perfect, unused. Tools appear unused, though there are a few very light marks here and there. This could be shop wear from 30 years, or could have been very light use. See the pics, and judge for yourself!
- Model: Campagnolo 0521/00
The Sale: We can offer zero percent financing for 6 months through Paypal, or accept credit cards. Brakes will be shipped with full insurance (thus the higher than usual shipping rate). If you pick these up locally in Fort Collins Colorado, we will be able to work with you on price. If you pay in cash or bank check, you'll get an even bigger discount! At some point, we plan to put some of our more exclusive parts on Ebay, and these will be one of them if they're still around. They'll be for a slightly higher price (to cover Ebay's 9% fee.
Trades: We know this is a high dollar item, and we'd love to help you add it to your collection! We will consider trade-in's for HIGH END bicycles and parts. This is much easier if you are near Fort Collins, as shipping costs won't be a factor.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
