Description
This gorgeous top level track racing frameset is the Japanese market version of the Bridgestone PHM-9. The American market version was labeled Bridgestone, Japanese market labeled Anchor. These were hard to come by when they were new retailing at $3985, and they are extremely rare now. The frame is made from high modulus carbon, and features massive stiff dropouts. Original bold yellow paint job. The seat tube is carved out to match the curve of the rear wheel. This is a two bolt seatpost binder version, making it a ~2006-2009 model. Photo with wheels is for reference, wheels not included.
Condition
Excellent to near mint lightly used shape. The paint overall is in wonderful shape. Decals are perfect to my eye. There are quite few paint imperfections. The ones worth mentioning are as follows: 1) driveside chainstay chips near BB, one ~1cm and a few pinpoint 2) Non-drive chainstay one chip to right of Anchor decal, some rub marks near dropout 3) seat tube inner edge has some rub marks 4) a bit of tire throw marks inner junction of chainstays
