Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

Black Sheep Cycles out of Fort Collins makes a limited amount of innovative high dollar custom titanium frames and components.  This Control Stem retails for $350, and is custom built to order!  You're not likely to EVER find one of these for sale anywhere but direct through Black Sheep Bikes.  The clamp is rather unique, with bolts actually on top/bottom of the clamp (the only other stem I've seem like this is the old GT Flip Flop stem).  Hand made with 3al/2.5v ti.  Super stiff, and only 155 grams!

Black Sheep's website shows this stem, under parts-stems.  http://www.blacksheepbikes.com/

Condition: Near mint, very little use.  Logo looks great, just a few VERY minor marks in the titanium.

  • Type: Threadless 1 1/8" stem
  • Bar clamp: 31.8mm oversized (fits most modern road or mountain bikes)
  • Length: 110mm (c-c)
  • Rise: roughly 6-8 degrees?
  • Weight: 155 grams

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
