Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

Ridiculously lightweight and gorgeous German seatpost.  This thing only weighs 115 grams!  It has a weight limit of 187 pounds.  Titanium bolts, a snakeskin-like UD type carbon finish, and a carbon cradle.  And, they're VERY hard to source in the USA.

This high spec post has a specific aramid-protected clamping area.  You can see this in the main image, there's a rectangular matte finish section roughly half way up the shaft.  I've attached a chart in the images with measurements for the clamping area.  This 350mm length is the L3 length.  From the rail centers to the top edge of the clamping area is 19cm, the clamping area spans 7cm, and from the rail centers to the bottom edge of clamping area is 26cm

Condition

New, though it was inserted into a frame and immediately taken out once.  It wasn't the right length, so it never even got clamped.  You can see just the slightest installation marks on the lower section, but barely.  New condition otherwise.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
