I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
Widely regarded as some of the best v-brakes ever made, these were Avid's top of the line high dollar model in the late 90's and early 2000's. They were rivals to the mighty XTR BR-M952 brakes. You could make an arguement that the XTR's perform better (you may lose, but you can try), but these look way cooler!
**The front brake on these is set up to use a brake booster. It comes with the longer bolts and spacers for this. If you want to use it without a booster, you'll need to source different bolts (normal brake mount bolts will function just fine, but will lack the neat black disc around them like the rear brake has).
Condition
Great used condition. A few minor cosmetic marks (mostly on the edges/ridges), but they look rather nice. Pads have roughly 80% or more life left. Includes original (and hard to find) wound metal noodles and mounting bolts.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
