Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

I've many times said XTR V-brakes were likely the best v brakes available.  Well, these are the one brake that's BETTER! They're just not available as they're rather rare and were prohibitively expensive in the late 1990's.  These have better stopping power and modulation than many mechanical disc brakes.  They're also extrremely light, and thanks to bearings in the pivots they have little slop to notice.  Includes original titanium noodle and pads.

Condition

Great to excellent lightly used shape.  Just a few light marks.  Bearings are smooth.  Pads have about 60% life left.  Could use a deeper cleaning.

Sell / Trade / Donate

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
