Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

This is a chain pull derailleur from the 1940's or 1950's.  It's associated with both model names of "JUY" and "Tour De France".  It was used with 3 and 4 speed freewheels.  See attached catalog scan for more details.  This one functions very well!

Condition

Great used condition.  The plunger / chain action is very smooth, as are the steel bearing pulleys.  Slight rust on the upper pivot bolt.

Sell / Trade / Donate

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
