Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

Action Tec bb's are rare...but Action tec bb's in 3DV purple are unheard of!  These typically came only in silver, but somewhere along the line this one was anodized 3DV purple (factory or aftermarket, undetermined).  These were amazing bb's, made from high end 6AL-4V titanium and SKS sealed cartridge bearings.  They were designed to be abused!  A must have for any retro 1990's mtb you're building with purple components.

Condition:

Excellent functional condition.  Ti spindle shows little crank installation/removal marks.  Bearings are smooth, though sound just slightly dry.  Cosmetically very good shape.  Anodizing has some wear, and there's some tool wear to a few of the notches.

Details:

  • Spindle length: 112mm
  • BB shell: 68mm, english
  • SKS cartridge bearings

Sell / Trade / Donate

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
