Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

Lovely 2001 Tsunami ti frame with couplers and rear rack eyelets/seatstay braze ons.  Seven marketed the Tsunami as a cyclocross frame and sold them with fully custom geometry/build quality.  This particular frame was built to be more vertically compliant and closer to stable than a typical cx bike is to agile (see attached build sheet), meaning its likely a wonderful light touring or gravel bike.  It was built with S&S couplers allowing it to be a great travel bike. Seven spec'd the Tsunami with a Wound Up carbon/alloy straight blade fork.

Spec sheet says it's most suited for 30cm tires, but the box for max clearance isn't marked.  In my limited testing with my 38mm continental Gravel King SK on Ksyrium rims, here's what I learned.  the fork just barely is reasonable to run 38mm tires.  The rear would be too close, and I think a 35mm is the biggest you could go (not tested, just a guess based on how much the 38c is too big). So best guess for a matched pair is 35's should work as long as they don't run wide, 33's would be an easy fit.

Excellent used condition. No dents, bends, cracks.  Not showroom condition, but pretty nice looking.  It has light scratching throughout as raw ti tends to get. There are just a few wear spots worth noting: 1) top of downtube in front of bottle braze ons has a ~3" rub/scuff spot, 2) driveside headtube & top tube near headtube has a horizontal mark from leaning against a wall or something, 3) some scratching on couplers.  There's other marks, but that's the most noticeable.  Being raw ti, if you desired you could likely buff some of the marks out.  Photos depict condition accurately

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
