Description

This lovely frame was made for Palo Alto Cycles in the 1980's in Italy by Biemmezeta (BMZ). BMZ was a large workshop who built built bikes on a contract basis for many famous names including Milanetti, Girini, Saronni, Mondial, etc. This particular frame features long point De Rosa lugs with heart cutouts, a chrome Columbus fork with a cute little star cutout on the long tangs and flat crown with Columbus logo & rear cutouts, Columbus Dove engravings on seatstay caps, Campagnolo dropouts, etc. This is the original paint job, someone removed the decals. For the price it's a super high quality frame that will ride like a dream.

Condition

Excellent used shape. No dents/dings/rust. Chrome is in near mint to mint shape. Overall quite clean condition, but it has some isolated chips/wear. The primary concerns are two large chips on the driveside of the top tube, a few smaller ones on the non-drive side, chips on bottom of bb shell. There are some small marks elsewhere, but they're more minor.
