I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
This is a 2nd gen Chris King headset, technically the first production model they ever released. Most documentation suggests this version released as early as 1978 and ran throughout the 80's and very early 1990's. The cups are free from any logos or engravings. The top nut is engraved only "King Sealed Bearing"
Condition
Average used shape. This one is for your survivor bikes, or your beater that needs super rad but affordable parts that won't make you die inside if you scratch them. Cups have light wear throughout, moderate wrench flat wear. Bearings are just shy of being able to honestly call them "smooth", but they are definitely rideable (and you probably won't even notice once you're pedaling).

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
