Description

This is a killer set of deep dish tubular race wheels for a 1990's show bike restoration! The rims are the very first iteration of the 404, made with these decals in 1992-1993.  The front hub is a radical Hershey Naked, with a clear shell and black ano finish.  Rear hub is a Dura Ace FH-7700.  These rims, and the Hershey hub are quite rare.  The tires are an almost new set of Challenge Limbus Pro handmade cyclocross gumwalls.  Radial laced with bladed spokes.

Condition

Near mint or better barely used shape, show bike condition!  Both rims spin true, and bearings feel new.  Quite minimal and even brake tract wear.  A few very minor cosmetic marks here and there on the rims, nothing even worth noting.  Decals are just about perfect.  Hubs have a few marks here and there.  It's possible the hubs were slightly used and laced with new rims/tires/spokes.  Tires look like they were ridden once on dirt, but show basically zero wear to the tread.
