Description

This Columbus SL tube'd Battaglin is a great platform to build a retro-mod. It's already 130mm to fit modern drivetrains. It is likely from the early to mid 1990's due to the tig welding, but the decals and embossed Italian flag scream mid-late 1980's Italian racing.

Condion

Excellent used shape. This frame is straight and solid, with zero dents/dings. Overall the paint and decals look wonderful, though there are a few cosmetic issues.  There are spots on either side of the head tube's bottom where the paint has been worn away by cable rub. The middle of the driveside top tube has a few deep scratches. The driveside seatpost clamp ear's paint has flaked off from tightening the binder.  There's the very beginnings of pitting on the bottom of the fork crown and seatstays at BB shell.
