Description

This late 1970's Mongoose Motomag old school bmx appears to have been ridden very little, and then possibly restored sometime in the not-too-distant past. It's complete aside from chain. Components are original/stock except incorrect fluted seatpost, repop Mongoose grips, likely newer (but correct style) Cheng Shin tires. Stem is original Ashtabula. Original handlebars/pad, and stem pad.

This gem is part of a collection I acquired from someone who's father died recently. All of the bikes from the collection were clearly loved and well cared for. See my other ads for more vintage old school BMX! 

Condition

It is quite clean throughout. The frame is free of dents and rust. Paint and decals overall are 8/10, exceptions being a corner of the top tube decal is coming up, very light dropout paint marks (but no real indentions), driveside chainstay light scuff and decal wear, scuff and chip on non-drive seatstay near top . Components are mostly near mint.
