Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

This unique saddle often came on Gitane's and Peugeot's in the 1970's.  It was a popular saddle with the old school bmx crowd, and would be great on a fixie as well!  It features a hard vinyl shell, a very rounded top shape, and leather straps to attach a rear saddle bag.

Very good condition.  A few marks in the vinyl.  Leather straps are a bit dry but in good shape.  Rails are in good shape, though there is one section of surface rust near the front of the saddle.  Could likely be cleaned up with steel wool.

Sell / Trade / Donate

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
