Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

This obscure wrench was made specifically for 1950's Simplex Juy 51 and Tour De France rear derailleurs, and possibly works for other chain pull type early derailleurs.  Directly from a 1954 Simplex catalog:

"A sturdy tool to fit over the domed nut 830b, without fouling the toggle chain, so that the traverse mechanism of Juy-51 and Tour De France gears can be properly aligned"

Condition

Excellent lightly used shape, no damage

Sell / Trade / Donate

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
