WTB Dirt Drop / Specialized RM-2 Handlebars: 26.0mm - Vintage 1980's + 1990's - Nitto Made - Polished - Heat Treated (EXC+)

These are OG WTB dirt drops from the 1986-1996 production run! These are killer for retro dirt bar mtb's, cyclocross, randonneuring, and monstercross bikes.  They match well to the Salsa Pro-Moto high rise dirt drop stems, and any other stem that gets your bars way up high!

Charlie Cunningham conceived of the ultra-wide flare offroad drop bar earlier in the 80's and made some by modifying Cinelli 64 bars, and then he placed an order for Nitto to make the production version.  The RM-2 was made in batches, with varying logos and finishes but all with the same geometry/dimensions.  They're sometimes found in the single laser-etched WTB logo format you see here, sometimes dual WTB logos, and often with one WTB logo and one Specialized logo (originally for the Rock Combo).  This one has both WTB and Specialized etched logos.

Condition

Excellent or better used shape.  Exposed center section only has light marks towards the bottom edge and will look wonderful once installed.  Tape residue.
