Description

Yes, 190mm is the actual extension length! This wild stem may be among the longest quill stems in existence.  If you've been to the now closed Norther Cycles in Portland, you've probably seen this stem with it's $5000 price tag written on it.  They liked having it around.  So do I.  I'll sell it though :)

One could speculate that it is custom made... What company would produce a stem that's almost 200mm long?!  It only weighs 335 grams, which indicates nice quality steel tubes. Perhaps this belongs on a 1990's parody mountain bike? Match this with a 500mm seatpost, 15" handlebars, silly Spinergy Spox wheels, and a ludicrous amount of purple.

Condition

The paint is full of chips, but that's part of the patina! No rust, no cracks or damage.  Keep it as is for the weird factor, or strip and paint to your fav color.
