Description
First made in the late 1970's, this was the first commercially available bicycle disc brake! It is meant to be used on the rear of a tandem bike. They use a special rear hub that at first glance looks like a flip flop hub, but the threads on the left side are for a special metal disc to fit this brake (this piece is not included, but is offered on the tandem disc wheelset we're selling, see below)
Condition
Great used condition, in original box. Completely functional with disc teeth in nice shape (1st gen disc, the thin type). Some light cosmetic wear.
