Description
Description
According to a rep from Livery, this is an early prototype frame from a project between Livery Design Groups and Hurley. The model never went into production, although the dropout design does see use on the LDG Pursuit MK2 & MK3 frames. It has quite classic stylings with lined lugs and a threaded steerer, although the beefy dropouts are quite modern. Buy it as a budget frame to race as is, or repaint it and make something truly special.
It is drilled for brakes front and rear, so you could make it into a singlespeed commuter as well. The tubing is Columbus. The most obvious design feature is the long yoke style seatstay! Overall this is a unique well made frame with nicely shaped lugs and a cool (but worn) paintjob.
It comes with an unmarked chrome headset with classic stylings.
Size
This is roughly a Medium or small/medium. Top tube measures 54cm, seat tube at 53cm c-t. It will fit riders roughly 5ft 4 to 5ft 9 tall.
- Seat tube: 53cm (c-t), 51cm (c-c)
- Top tube: 54cm
- Head tube: 108mm
Condition
Great used shape. Frame is straight, with NO bends, dents, cracks, or damage. Paint has a good number of chips and scratches. It looks nice enough for a backup bike, but you may wish to repaint it if you want to put pricey parts on it. Headset spins super smooth, and has minimal marks.
