He's most noted for building John Howard's pedal powered land speed record bike (152mph!). This frame is a TT \/ pursuit built from shaped Columbus Max steel tubing and runs on 24 x 3\/4\" tubular wheels. It features a long and slender wishbone seatstay, internal brake cable routing, and massive oversized tubing. This is a lightweight and stiff frame designed for maximum speed.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003eThe paint is a work of art! It's the closest to \"mother of pearl purple\" as I can think of. Its highly metallic, and nearly chameleon as it shows blue at tight angles and ranging dark to light purple closer to straight on. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003eIt comes with a high end wheelset, built on Winners 2000 roller-clutch silent hubs! You won't hear a peep out of the freehub body. That freehub body is a strange one. It uses a modified type connection with splines near the large cogs and thread on freewheel style at the smaller ones. It comes with a modified 8 speed Dura Ace MF-7400 freewheel to fit it. Laced to top shelf Sun Mistral Super Hard Ano rims, and Continental Competition GT tires. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003eCondition\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003eExcellent used shape! Paint and decals overall are very clean with minimal wear. The only thing to note is paint damage on the driveside chainstay due to chain drop\/suck, right around the crimp.
