It was essentially an upgrade from the Manitou Four. It retains the same Easton Taperlite legs \u0026amp; CNC crown, but in addition to the Manitou elastomer system is an oil dampening cartridge with a nine position knob.  These were made in 1995 and 1996, and available in both XC \u0026amp; DH formats. This XC uses standard quick release \u0026amp; (probably) 2.5 inches of travel while the DH uses a special Ringle \"thru axle\" and came set up for 3\" travel. There was a conversion kit to switch between 2.5 and 3\", I can't tell exactly which one this is.  The stock fork brace has been upgraded with a Two Wheel Performance Products arch.  Killer fork for your mid 1990's retro mtb!\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003eCondition\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: medium;\"\u003eNear mint lightly used shape!
